Built my Venture several years ago, and I love it! I quickly discovered that the instructor pilots at my club liked to fly it under the pretence of giving me a lesson. Have a OS 60 FP in the front end, and it's plenty of power. I also riveted the two landing gear halves together into one piece and like the results one piece gives. Since finding this web site I'm getting the fever to build another Venture, and bashing it just a little. Picking up from some of the comments in the forum, I'm going to add some radius to the tail feathers, , use two servos on the ailerons, and put a cowl on the front similar to the based on the article in RC Modeler. I too found the furnished landing gear a little light, so I'm looking forward to getting the heavier one. I'll try to get you a photo of the model I have before winter storage.
