I've rebuilt my wing tip twice. The 2nd time 3 ribs had to be replaced. Bruce's design, when followed, lends itself well to patching up. Of course, if your wing was anihilated, a judgement call is in order.
My Venture60 has suffered more than its fair share. The last crash (all are pilot error) literally broke the fuse into two parts. It cracked right behind the cockpit.
However, just yesterday, the bird flew again, and flew without mishap. BTE kits take a lickin' and keep on tickin'.
