They said it couldn't be done, so I did it.
Chopped the nose off and moved the firewall back 31/2 inches
Installed a 1.5 cu. in. Homelite weedeater engine that I modified for flight.
Engine swings an 18-8 Forte prop at 6700 RPM.
New 3/16 - 6061-T6 alum. landing gear, 4in. mains, 11/2 in. tailwheel.
12 oz. tank modified for gas.
Added some tail weight for balance.
Cowl   from nose cheeks that I cut-off.
Servos installed in wing for ailerons.
FUTABA 6XAS computer radio.
This plane flies like a dream, about 25 min. on 12 oz gas and oil mix, 40 to 1.
