The BC photo is before the crash. I had cowled the engine upright. The AC photo is after the crash. Elevator flutter caused it to go in at about a 30% angle to the ground after coming out of a dive.
Since the nose was destroyed back to the fire wall I decided to rebuild it with the engine side mounted and made a fiber glass cowl for it. Flies better than ever now.
I also have the Flyin King which is a great kit. Now considering the Vortex kit for my winter project.
Before crash. Cowled front with upright engine.

After Crash. Cowled but side-mounted engine. Is that a header & pipe beneath?
